Are you currently in eighth grade with aspirations to be a spoken word artist, poet, rapper or emcee? Ruth Asawa San Francisco School of the Arts (SOTA) has a brand new track under the Creative Writing Department called Spoken Arts, spearheaded by Rap Force Academy founder and Executive Director of Hip Hop Congress, Rahman Jamaal. This workshop is facilitated by current students in the program, who will be here to help you hone your portfolio in time for the December 13 application deadline. Come ready to share, read and/or perform your works for personal feedback and advice from students! First round of auditions is January 13!
