Mission Sunday Streets

(General Event)

Aug 21,2016, 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ 826 Valencia Pirate Supply Store
It's (almost) always sunny in the Mission, especially during this family friendly day. What more excuse do you need to come visit your favorite neighborhood Pirate Supply Store? Our friends from Glassybaby will be posted outside selling beautiful, shiny treasures (votive holders) that cast light almost as well as our deck prisms. As a bonus, 10% of their sales will be donated to 826 Valencia programs as well as, as always, 100% of the proceeds from your Pirate Store purchase.

Sunday Streets are events that encourage recreation, community activities, and fun in San Francisco. Sunday Streets closes stretches of the city's streets to automobile traffic, and opens them to people for several hours on various Sundays throughout the year. This first of two in the Mission this year will stretch from McCoppin Plaza to 26th Street so participants can enjoy a large, temporary, public space where they can bike, walk, run, dance, do yoga...anything.
